in May 2025, our CTO, Omar Meksassi, participated in the Google AI for Media Network Hackathon in Munich.
The two-day event focused on pushing the technological boundaries of AI in journalism, particularly in video production and conversational products.
Omar was part of a team developing a project on video segmentation and analysis. He worked on a code that can detect polarization, framing, and sentiment in interviews, without the need for transcription.
This work aligns with Comprehentia’s mission to better understand the dynamics at play in conflict zones, especially through the lens of narratives and media bias.
